2027–2028 Freshman Application Process
October 1, 2026 begins our Early Acceptance Period. Students who meet or exceed our application standards may be offered admission as applications are reviewed. Our 2027–28 freshman class will have 150 total students, with approximately 40–50 seats expected for new applicants.
Admission Considerations
Admission is based on a review of prior academic and behavioral records. Applicants with chronic absenteeism, low academic performance, or repeated disruptive behavior may not receive priority.

Step 2: Submit Required Documents
Applicants must provide academic, attendance, and behavioral records. More details are available within the digital application. All documents may be sent electronically to admissionsbiehs@okcps.org
Step 3: Letters of Recommendation (digital)
One letter of recommendation is required. Letters of recommendation must be completed using this form.
THE APPLICATION WINDOW
The application process officially begins in October 2026. The Early Acceptance Period begins October 1, when completed applications begin being reviewed. The application window officially closes in mid-February 2027. Students who meet our application standards but cannot be assured an available seat will be placed on the waitlist.
HOW MANY STUDENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED?
Our freshman class for fall 2027 will have a maximum of 150 students. Because current Belle Isle Middle School 8th graders are expected to continue into the high school, we anticipate approximately 40–50 additional seats for new applicants.
